Ross is close to returning to golf having been ruled out since November because of a persistent wrist injury.

Unable to pick up a club until March, he is back playing practice rounds following a period of rest and rehabilitation and hopes to return in June or July.

Ross has been based at his home in Dubai throughout his recovery and is hopeful of confirming his comeback tournament sometime in May.
