Ross played in the Portugal Masters at the Oceanico Victoria Golf Course at Vilamoura in Portugal and finished in a tie for 17th - his best result since being plagued by injury in the middle of the season.

Ross shot rounds of 72, 68, 68 and 67 to leave him on thirteen under par. Australia's Richard Green won the event with the score of eighteen under par.

Ross now travels to Valencia to play in the Castello Masters Costa Azahar which begins on Thursday,
