Soggy In Scotland
Posted: 9th July 2011
Hi Everyone, must apologise for the lack of blogs recently but I've been concentrating hard on my game and haven't really had much to write about so far this year.
My game is so very nearly where I'd like it to be but of late I've been in that most frustating of positions where I've missed a good few cuts by just one shot. I played well in Germany at the BMW International Open where I finished 31st - a particular highlight was finishing 4th in the overall putts for the week which is encouraging for the upcoming events.
I'm currently at the Barclays Scottish Open at Castle Stuart near Inverness where the weather been nothing short of atrocious, sitting on three under par and fighting... MORE »
Determination for 2011

Greetings from Dubai which is currently bathed in sunshine and blue skies – a great place to be at this time of year when it’s cold in the UK – no temporary greens here!
Since my final event in Singapore I’ve been here trying to sort out my shoulder problem which really made the 2010 season one I’d like to forget.
I’ve been working out in the gym regularly and have also been having plenty of physio which is making it stronger and more flexible. I’ve even been practising and playing quite a bit and it is definitely feeling much better than it has done for the past few months.

Four Weeks Off
Posted: 6th September 2010
Hi everyone, just letting you all know that I'm taking four weeks off now! With the magical help of Cornel I was able to play in Switzerland last week but I did really start to feel my shoulder injury again on the Saturday, although it had felt really good on Thursday and Friday. I played really well on the Thursday and to be honest was a bit unlucky not to shoot less than three under par. But I've now made the decision to rest it for a full four weeks and prepare myself well for the remaining events (starting with the Alfred Dunhill) and the onslaught for the Race to Dubai.
I'm off to America today and am going back to my... MORE »
Gutted

As I write this I’m in London which isn’t where I expected to be today. Due to my nerve injury in my shoulder I’ve had to pull out of the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles and along with that say goodbye to my opportunity of claiming a spot in the Ryder Cup team for Celtic Manor.
I’ve played with the injury for the last 5 or 6 weeks purely in an endeavour to get into the team and along with the pain it has also been mentally very draining.
I’m absolutely gutted at not making the team but having been hampered by various injuries for most of the season it hasn’t been an easy task for me. Hopefully though I’ll make the... MORE »
Well Done Louis

The Open Championship at St Andrews was a disappointing week for me. I was relly pleased with my first round score but on Friday the weather got the better of me, my putter wasn't too happy in the wind and that was the end of the Championship for me.
Louis Oosthuizen, on the other hand, had the best week of his career winning the Claret Jug, and then following that with a top five in Sweden - so congratulations to him. I first met Louis in South Africa when I had just turned pro and played on the Sunshine Tour five years ago - in fact he beat me down the stretch in my first tournament there. He's a great front-runner... MORE »
