Soggy In Scotland

Posted: 9th July 2011

Hi Everyone, must apologise for the lack of blogs recently but I've been concentrating hard on my game and haven't really had much to write about so far this year.

My game is so very nearly where I'd like it to be but of late I've been in that most frustating of positions where I've missed a good few cuts by just one shot. I played well in Germany at the BMW International Open where I finished 31st - a particular highlight was finishing 4th in the overall putts for the week which is encouraging for the upcoming events.

I'm currently at the Barclays Scottish Open at Castle Stuart near Inverness where the weather been nothing short of atrocious, sitting on three under par and fighting the cut mark again. The course is magnificent, possibly the best modern links I've played - every hole is a very different challenge which makes it extremely interesting to play and for all you golfers out there it's well worth adding to your 'must play' list.

There's still plenty of room for improvement in my game and hopefully I'll be back in the winner's circle again soon.
